My wedding journey started on May 16th 2009 when my boyfriend, James, proposed to me after 5 1/2 years together. Having dreamed of getting married and planning it over and over again since I was a child, I was suddenly horrified to find myself extremely daunted at the prospect of planning a wedding. I became aware that all those plans I had made in my head focused almost exclusively around the colour scheme and my dress and even those I was no longer so sure about now it was all real.
11 months on from that point and with less than 2 weeks to go until my wedding I have started to look back at the journey I have had and decided to share it with you in the hopes that it will help future brides on their epic planning journey
